OpenAI expanded its GPT-6 family with Sol, for complex work such as coding, and Luna, for high-volume tasks like summarising and extracting information. API prices are 50% lower than the GPT-5.6 versions, and OpenAI says Sol makes about half as many factual mistakes as its predecessor.
Why it matters
